My wife and I lived in these apartments for 1 year, and we would have loved to stay, but were forced to move because of income restrictions. We had an apartment on the first floor, which is actually the 2nd level. We had a nice partial view of the mountains and we got lucky with a very large patio/deck area all to ourselves. Just about everyone here is very friendly, including a very nice staff. It is super-quiet; we rarely hear anyone, and we are right next to the elevator and laundry room! The grounds are nothing special, but there are a few trees and some grass, which is always nice to see when you're downtown. Our place was somewhat small, but couldn't really argue with the price! We paid $30/month extra for parking in one of the secured garages. It was a little tight, but definitely worth it. There is usually plenty of street parking, but it has time limits during the day and sometimes fills up when the high school has events. There was a car/apt. break in once or twice in the year we were here, but nothing that ever left me feeling unsafe. The building is very secure, and most people here know to not just let people behind you come in unless you know them or they have their keys. The incidents seemed to be isolated and were only because of the carelessness of a few people. I have never had any problems with this place, and I will be sad to leave! Don't be fooled by it's average appearance, this place is much better than average! If you can get an apt. here, go for it!

My husband and I lived on the 1st floor of apartments about 10 years ago. It was pretty nice and spacious for the money. And, we had a partial view of the sound. We could watch the Salty Sea Days Parade from the roof deck and the balconies are nice to have. It is located in a very convinient area of downtown Everett with just about everything you could need within walking distance. Parking does suck, but if you rent a space in the garage (which we did and I highly reccomend) it isn't bad at all. Very secure. Never had a problem with noise, except when a noisy abusive couple, moved in upstairs but they were evicted fast.

The apartments are just over ten or so years old. There is some wear and tear as one would expect. The major problem I dealt with was the smoke. The building allows smoking in apartments. The halls are terrible, and if you use the fan in the apartment the stench comes in your apartment. Ive noticed it worse on certain floors so if this is an issue, visit all floors. Management is working on the issue but I didnt see any improvement after a memo to residents from manager. Another issue is parking. There is 90 minute (M-F 8am-6pm) out front that fills up fast (especially when school is in next door). There is a pay lot next to building but not well lit. You can pay $25-30 for the garage but spaces are tight. Building is pretty "secure" and all entrance doors are locked (even from inside of garage). There is an intercom system in each apartment so you can "buzz" people in. The intercom is very loud and full of static but it is an older system I believe. Other than the smoke and perhaps some carpets needing replaced the apartment is nice, the management is friendly and humorous and MOST of the residents were friendly as well. There are several young adults and several OLDER and disabled. Not too many middle-aged that Ive noticed. Nicest apartment Ive found in North Everett for the money.
